What’s Inside This Edition
The Shelf Care Edition includes:
-
One surprise book — Fiction or nonfiction, selected for how it reads, not how it trends. Chosen the same way I choose what to read off my own shelves: based on mood, curiosity, and whether I can imagine actually finishing it in the life I’m living right now.
-
A reading ritual card — A simple prompt to help you ease into the book. Think of it as a moment to settle in, not instructions to follow.
-
A curated playlist — Optional background for reading, cleaning, or driving with the book riding shotgun in your bag.
-
Thoughtful extras — These change each edition. Book-adjacent, practical, and chosen to support the overall vibe, not fill space.
-
Private book club access
Each box includes a code to join a private discussion space in the Phictly app, wwhere readers receiving the same edition can connect and talk about the book together.
Who This Is For
This box is probably a good fit if you:
-
Love reading but feel out of rhythm with it lately
-
Pick books based on mood and curiosity, not what’s everywhere right now
-
Want something steady to look forward to each season
-
Appreciate thoughtful details without excess stuff
-
Care about supporting independent bookstores and local communities
-
Like being surprised, as long as it’s done well
If you only want brand-new releases, or you need to know the book before you commit, this might not be your box. And that’s okay.
